When you use Marksy, we collect basic information required to provide our service. This includes your email address and basic profile information provided securely via Google OAuth during registration, as well as the URLs, titles, and metadata of the bookmarks you choose to save to our platform.
We use the information we collect strictly to operate, maintain, and provide the core features of the Marksy platform—specifically, allowing you to save, automatically categorize, and manage your personal web bookmarks, as well as enabling you to export them reliably to your browser.
Marksy utilizes Google's Gemini API to automatically group and organize your bookmarks by topic. The URLs and titles of your bookmarks are sent to this API solely for the purpose of categorization. We do not sell your personal data, and your personal bookmarks are never used to train public AI models. Your workspace remains entirely private to you.
We implement industry-standard security measures, including encryption in transit and at rest, to protect your data. Your bookmarks and personal information are stored securely in our database and access is strictly limited to authenticated sessions tied to your account.
If you have any questions or concerns about this Privacy Policy, your data, or how we handle your bookmarks, please do not hesitate to contact us at hello@moyrith.com.
